About us

EM LEGIS is based in Puerto de Alcudia on Mallorca. Founded by Ewelina Majcherek, an attorney of Polish nationality with academic qualifications from both, Poland and Spain. The combination of her language skills (knowledge of Spanish, Polish and English) with the degrees in law and sociology allows her to approach each case with a holistic perspective, understanding both - the legal aspects and the cultural contexts that may influence her clients' situation.

This approach is essential to understand the challenges our clients face in their legal processes. EM LEGIS is committed to provide a service that is not only based on extensive legal knowledge but also on a deep understanding of social dynamics, thereby ensuring effective advice tailored to individual needs.

We support our clients in the legal processes of buying and selling real estate in Spain, with an emphasis on transactions on Mallorca. We also offer legal advice and representation in litigation within the fields of labor and civil law.

About attorney Ewelina Majcherek

Navigating the complexities of the law with integrity and experience, we are here to assist you in protecting your interests in the legal process.

My name is Ewelina Majcherek, and I am an attorney registered in the Mallorca Bar Council (ICAIB) under the number 7312. I come from Poland, where I graduated in Sociology, with specialization in Sociology of Culture, at the University of Szczecin in Poland in 2010. Simultaneously, I also graduated in law, acquiring my degree in 2011 at the same university.

Immediately after finishing my studies, I was offered the opportunity to work as an academic teacher and sociologist at the University of Szczecin. At that time, I was conducting research, initiated while I was still a student, on the acculturation process of Polish migrants living abroad, including Spain. The profession of sociologist allowed me to deepen my knowledge of cultural and social dynamics in an international setting.

The desire to put theoretical knowledge into practice led me to travel from Poland, first to Greece, and then to Spain, where I have been living on Mallorca since 2014.

A strong connection with the academic world motivated me to study law at the University of the Balearic Islands, graduating in 2023. This is particularly significant in my current profession, as graduating in law, both in Poland and Spain, has allowed me to gain an in-depth understanding of both legal systems. The education in sociology and law gives me the ability to apply my knowledge in practice and offer more comprehensive and specialized advice to my clients.

In 2024 I completed my master’s degree in advocacy and legal representation at the University of the Balearic Islands, with the intention of enriching my professional skills and being able to practice as an attorney in Spain. In the same year I passed the state examination, which allowed me to become a member of the Mallorca Bar Council (ICAIB) as an attorney. In my profession I try to connect my sociological and legal skills with the understanding of cultural diversity and knowledge of languages (fluent Spanish, Polish and English and communicative German).

I consider myself an empathetic, understanding person with listening skills, which allows me to understand social situations and cultural contexts, especially in the international field. My goal is to help people who wish to live in Spain, and need legal support, to adapt to a new reality, providing them with the necessary legal advice to facilitate their integration and success in this new environment.

I am passionate about Property and Labor Law, especially in international contexts, where I can apply my experience and communication skills to offer a comprehensive service tailored to the needs of my clients.
